10 Keys to a Great Campout

A trip can easily turn into a disaster if you are not prepared. Take a few moments and plan out your next trip and follow the these tips.

1.
Plan for the worst weather.
2.
Plan sharing loads and responsibilities beforehand.
3.
Keep things simple.
4.
Check your gear in advance. Replace the worn-out or imoperative. Bring extra gear.

Play on the way and when you get there—isn't that what you're there for?
6.
Let kids participate—let them light the fire, help pitch the tent, mix the pancake batter, or paddle the canoe.
7.
Take food you like to eat.
8.
Make reservations well in advance
